A dichotomously branched species of the red algal genus Ceramium. The picture shows axis cells enclosed partially by cortical cells (red belts). Filament hairs arise from cortical cells. The scale bar indicates 200 µm.
 
Collected from Bodden, the brackish waters lying between the isles of Hiddensee and Ruegen (German Baltic Sea). This image was taken using Zeiss Universal with Olympus C7070 CCD camera.

Ein dichotom verzweigte Art aus der Rotalgen-Gattung Ceramium . Das Bild zeigt Achsenzellen, teilweise von kortikalen Zellen (rote Bänder) umschlossen. Dünne Haare entspringen aus den kortikalen Zellen. Der Messbalken markiert eine Länge von 200 µm.

Probe aus dem Hiddenseer Bodden, der Brackwasserfläche zwischen den Inseln Hiddensee und Rügen. Mikrotechnik: Zeiss Universal, Kamera: Olympus C7070.
