Ephydatia fluviatilis

The juvenil sponge has formed its first outlet of filtrated water, the osculum.

The specimen was gathered in the Historical Eider Canal Altenholz-Rathmannsdorf (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany). Sampling date 4/2018. The image was built up using several photomicrographic frames with manual stacking technique. Images were taken using Zeiss STEMI SV6 with Olympus OM-D M5 MKII.

Die Ableitungsröhre der Schwamms für das filtrierte Wasser (Osculum) ist sichtbar.

Die Probe wurde im Alten Eiderkanal Altenholz-Rathmannsdorf (nahe Kiel) gesammelt. Datum der Aufsammlung: 4/2018. Mikrotechnik: Zeiss STEMI SV6, Kamera: Olympus OM-D M5 MKII.
